There are three root causes of the ongoing war imposed on the Southern Cameroons by the Republic of Cameroon.

• Non-decolonisation of the Southern British Cameroons
• The Republic of Cameroon’s territorial aggrandisement claim to the territory of the Southern Cameroons.
• A Continuing history of systematic targeted killings, the purpose of which can only be to destroy the people of the Southern Cameroons over time.
